Memberships are available to anyone 50 years or older, and per our bylaws only individuals age 50-plus may participate in Senior Centre activities as non-members.

Effective Jan. 1, 2025, the cost for an annual membership is $55 per person.

Individuals may purchase or renew a membership for the next calendar year between Sept. 1 and the last day of business in December and receive a discount of $10 on the regular price.

All Senior Centre Memberships cover a calendar year and expire at Dec. 31 on the year of purchase.

Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferrable, and must be paid for at the time of registration. Payment by cash, debit or cheque (payable to the Tillsonburg Senior Centre) is accepted.

The cost for a NEW membership from July 1 onward is $35. This discounted price is available only to brand new members, and is only available one time. The price for a new membership will be discounted to $15 starting October 1 and until the end of business in December of the year in question. This discounted price is available only to brand new members, and is only available one time. All renewing members must pay full price, regardless of when they renew.

Honorary members are those individuals who have reached the age of 90, or who are in their 90th year at the time of joining. These individuals need not purchase an annual membership but will be afforded the same rights and benefits as Members in terms of discounts and voting privileges at the AGM. Honorary members are required to pay the discounted user fee assigned to any and all programs in which they participate.

Members with developmental or physical delays who require the assistance of a caregiver in order to participate may bring such person(s) as required, and the age requirement will be waived for the caregiver(s). Per our bylaws, there shall be no program charges for the caregiver for assisting the individual during their visit. If a caregiver wishes to participate in the program alongside their client, he or she will pay the associated program fee. Events involving food (ie turkey lunch, monthly luncheons etc) will be charged accordingly.
